Do you sell import anime?

No. Most items listed online as import anime are actually bootlegs and we do not carry bootlegs. Officially released anime from Japan will not have English subtitles and will cost a small fortune due to the cost of importing it. At the moment, we do not carry legal anime imports, but are more than willing to take requests.

Are all of your products the officially licensed releases?

Yes. It is our policy to only carry legally licensed products. As fans ourselves we feel that it is an absolute must to support the anime industry so that they can continue producing the shows that we love.

Will you buy my anime?

Yes, we buy many anime and manga titles, please refer to our trade-in section for more information.

Can I rent anime from you?

Yes, we rent anime at our store in Houston. Please drop by and inquire within our store.

When is your next convention?

Please check out our Convention Schedule under the Conventions tab. This has up-to-date information on our convention schedule.

Do you take special requests?

Yes. We take special requests for almost anything including items that are not anime and usually provide feedback within a week. If we can find it, we'll quote you a price, you say yes or no, and we'll ship it to you.

I am looking for a place to host an event, can I have it at your store?

We host regular events at our store in conjunction with the Greater Houston Anime Society, so we would be happy to host other events. Just send an e-mail to events@thoseanimepeople.com and we'll let you know.

I am having a problem with my order, what should I do?

If you are having a trouble with your order or would like to cancel an order within a 24 hour time frame, please send an e-mail to admin@thoseanimepeople.com. We would be happy to assist you.

Do you offer military discounts?

Yes. Please contact us to be added to our special military pricing group. Discounts are usually between 10% and 15% off our regular prices.

What other discounts do you offer?

We offer discounts to various affiliated anime clubs and their members, members of the Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts, unpaid staff and volunteers at affiliated conventions, and the American Red Cross and various other non-profit organizations. Please contact us to see if you qualify for these discounts.

Do you offer wholesale distribution?

Yes. We offer special pricing for retailer's and other groups. Please contact us to see if you qualify.
